FoumartGames is an independent game development workshop led by game developer, designer, and artist Noncho Savov.
The studio focuses on creating innovative browser-based games, as well as standalone titles for platforms such as Itch.io and Steam, and even oldschool 8-bit platforms like Apple II.
FoumartGames is known for combining unique gameplay mechanics with classic visual and conceptual design.
Achievements with the first official release
Quantum of Light was nominated for Best Puzzle Game of the Year 2014 by Armor Games.
The game achieved a 9.3/10 rating and ranked among the top puzzle games on Armor Games prior to the end of Adobe Flash support (as of December 2020).
Over one million players have played Quantum of Light worldwide.
Tens of thousands of players followed the in-game HOME 2009 movie link, significantly contributing to the "share it! And act for the planet" global awareness campign.

The classic sliding-block puzzle for the Apple IIe
Now available for the New Apple // Web emulator running on any modern browser on desktop and mobile devices, or on your real Apple II hardware. A DSK image is included for download.
Runs in-browser via Apple // Web, an emulator port by Noncho Savov, built on Will Scullin’s apple2js.
Featuring mouse control with such effortless feel and available right at your fingertips in you browser - as if the Apple IIe was built like that from the start.
And that's true - the same gameplay is available on your original Apple //e computer if you have a Mouse Card installed. Moreover with an Uthernet II card you get access to hundreds of thousands levels at service online - you can download level packs with new levels whenever you get bored by the 100 levels limit on disk."
GridLock
Classic traffic jam sliding block puzzle
GridLock is a sliding block logic puzzle inspired by the original design by Nob Yoshigahara. Player must maneuver a red car out of a gridlocked traffic jam by sliding other cars and trucks out of the way. The game features mobile-friendly design and hundreds thousands of levels available via online dedicated server for maximum replay-ability.
As a new development in 2022, the game is specifically targeted to run on the Ruffle Flash emulator, embracing the revival of Flash-era games on the modern web. GridLock was submitted to the Flash Forward Game Jam 2022 on Newgrounds, where it placed 7th overall."
