Run the game with Ruffle, a Flash player emulator written in Rust utilizing WebAssembly:

Run Ruffle

Rush Hour® is the creation of Nob Yoshigahara.

Thinkfun's Rush Hour traffic jam logic game is used as graphical reference.

This is my first attempt in flash game development, dating back in 2008. It's coded in ActionScript 2 (AS3 had just been released with flash player 9 in 2006). The controls are unique - I had only seen drag-and-drop type kind of Rush Hour clones. The game is incomplete and also have a few of flaws, but nothing critical, so you can deffinitely enjoy solving those puzzles - they are the original Rush Hour puzzles.

Note: with the end of Flash Player plugin in Dec 2020, I'm experimenting with different ways to run flash content on the web. Here I've established a system which runs the Ruffle flash player if there is no flash player plugin available. Ruffle is a Flash Player emulator built in the Rust programming language. Ruffle runs on all modern browsers through the use of WebAssembly. So far Ruffle's ActionScript support is limited, but it can run Rush Hour pretty well, as it's an AS2 game.
